Pastoral Staff
Bryce and his wife met in college at the University of Texas at Austin where they both majored in English. They were married in 2006 in San Antonio, Texas. Collectively, they have lived and worked in Spain, France, Texas (Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Austin), California, Montana, and now Bogota. They have a heart to see the good news of the gospel spread around the world, which is what drew them to join the UCB staff in the summer of 2022. They love the geographically diverse and interesting people they get to serve through the church’s ministry.
Bryce received his Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Seminary California and has served in a number of different ministry roles since his ordination in 2009. He enjoys good music, hiking, cycling, and exploring the city of Bogota. The Wallers have three children – Liam, Ryan, and Emma.

Pastor Andrew Baxley
Andrew and his wife joined the UCB team in December 2017. Andrew is Pastor of Youth and Families and Kelly serves the church community as a counselor. Andrew earned his MDiv degree from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, MO, USA. Kelly earned her Masters in Counseling from Covenant Seminary. They are devoted to their children, and to the work God has called them to in Bogotá.
Elders are to guard the congregation, that no corruption of doctrine or of morals enter the Body. They exercise government and discipline, and take oversight of the spiritual interests of the church. They should pray with and for the people, being careful and diligent in seeking the fruit of the preached Word among the flock.
It is the duty of the deacons to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress. It is their duty also to develop the grace of liberality in the members of the church, and to devise effective methods of collecting the gifts of the people, The oversee church-wide fellowship and outreach activities.
